The sale of The Wooden Spoon, the landmark restaurant in Gentry, Arkansas owned by Cam and Jane Klassen was recently brokered by CBI Senior Intermediary Dave Godwin. Cam and Jane owned and operated the popular restaurant for almost 20 years, establishing one of the most recognized dining destinations in Northwest Arkansas and the state.
The new owners, Justin and Emily Allen were frequent guests over the years and are looking to continue the legacy the Klassen’s built with their scratch made menu, scrumptious desserts and smiling service. Justin Allen, The Wooden Spoon, buyer said, “Our family decided to take a leap and buy a business. CBI was with us each step of the way. Dave Godwin was available 24/7 to give us advice and help find the resources we needed to get the deal done.
